Ancient8 is a Web3 gaming infrastructure protocol focused on creating an ecosystem for the Metaverse. The platform provides a suite of tools for game studios, encompassing distribution, marketing, and community-building solutions.
As a community-centric platform, Ancient8 has already provided scholarships for thousands of blockchain gamers and educational opportunities for tens of thousands of community members, both locally in Vietnam and globally. The project aims to democratize social and financial access in the Metaverse by developing a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) that enables users to engage in blockchain gaming while earning rewards.
Ancient8 has raised a total of $10 million in financing from leading investors, including Pantera, Dragonfly, Hashed, Makers Fund, Mechanism, Coinbase, and IOSG, among others. The platform's products and efforts are designed to meet the community's needs, with a focus on the Solana ecosystem.
In addition, Ancient8 is building an Ethereum Layer 2 chain called Ancient8 Chain, which is designed to onboard the next 100 million Web3 citizens by providing a seamless, high-performance gaming experience. This chain is led by the Ancient8 Collective, a group of top Web3 gaming thought leaders, and is designed to be a decentralized and inclusive ecosystem.
Ancient8's suite of products includes tools such as Space3, Dojo Launchpad, and others, which are designed to empower users and developers in the Web3 gaming space.
