Akita Inu (AKTA) is a community-building token on the Algorand blockchain designed to drive adoption of and engagement with the Algorand ecosystem. It does this through building a strong user and developer community within the ecosystem, forging collaborations between projects and creators, and raising funds for charities. It also creates open-source Web3 tools and has a suite of dApps featuring AKTA as the native token. The Akita Kennel Club (AKC) is part of the project, made up of 1000 unique NFTs granting benefits. 1 billion tokens are currently in circulation with 40% airdropped to the Algorand community, 35% used for liquidity on Tinyman exchange, 20% for the Community Development Fund and 5% for a Founder's Wallet. Akita Inu was founded by Ryan Roberts, a project manager and veteran cryptocurrency investor. The development team is transatlantic and has expertise in smart contract and web development, marketing, and graphic design.
