AGA Carbon Credit is a project focused on assisting miners in becoming Carbon Neutral. It does this by calculating and auditing their carbon footprint and selling them Carbon Removal Tokens (CRTs). The project utilizes dynamic NFTs, tied to off-chain carbon emissions data and on-chain CRT balance, to replace static-paper certificates. Miners can stake CRTs and link them to the NFT to demonstrate ongoing compliance.
The project has two tokens:
- AGAc (utility token): Represents one Kilogram of Carbon Removed, with 1,000 AGAc equal to one Carbon Removal Metric Tonne.
- AGAcr (governance token): Serves as a Governance token for the AGA Carbon Project.
AGA Carbon Credit aims to promote environmental sustainability by supporting miners in offsetting their carbon footprint.
